Woven labels have the design woven directly into the fabric using colored threads. This creates a premium, textured feel that lasts the lifetime of the garment — the design will never fade, peel, or crack. Woven labels reproduce up to 12 colors and work best for logos, brand names, and simple graphics. They're the standard choice for premium and luxury clothing brands.
Printed labels have the design printed onto a fabric surface using ink. They can reproduce unlimited colors, photographic detail, and complex gradients that weaving cannot achieve. Printed labels are typically more affordable, especially for full-color designs. However, they may fade slightly over many wash cycles.

Q: Can I get woven labels with my logo in full color?
Yes. Our damask weaving process can reproduce logos in up to 12 colors. For best results, we recommend vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF). If you only have a JPG or PNG, our design team will recreate it as a vector at no extra charge.
Q: What backing options are available for woven labels?
We offer sew-on, peel & stick or iron on woven labels. Any woven label fold type is also included with your order (straight cut, center fold, loop fold, end fold, mitre fold, manhattan fold, book cover fold). Iron-on backing for woven labels offers an easy and permanent attachment method, often used in conjunction with sewing for tricky applications such as on baseball caps.
